Cornell L. Hatcher is the Founding Attorney of Hatcher Law Firm, A Professional Corporation, and a native of Diamond Bar, California. Cornell’s commitment to excellence is evident throughout his numerous lifetime achievements —values rooted in his early academic and athletic achievements. Cornell began his collegiate career at the United States Military Academy at West Point before earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Southern University. Cornell distinguished himself academically and as a D1 athlete, as a three-year starter and team captain, he earned both All League and League Academic awards.
He obtained his Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law in 2000. After his admission to the California State Bar and the United States District Court for the Central District of California in 2001, Cornell co-founded the Law Offices of Miles & Hatcher with Brian C. Miles where the two successfully built their practice for more than two decades.
With more than 24 years’ experience in Family Law, Estate Planning, and Civil Litigation. Cornell has successfully handled thousands of cases for his clients in the Inland Empire, Orange County, and Los Angeles. Cornell is an exceptional Attorney who prides himself on listening to his clients’ concerns and formulating a plan of attack to meet their goals.
Cornell’s dedication extends beyond the courtroom. When he’s not advocating for clients, Cornell enjoys sports, traveling, and spending time with his wife and their four children. Cornell has been very active in the community and has been heavily involved in coaching youth sports and high school programs that allow young students to obtain real-life experience. Cornell also mentors students who are interested in the legal field. Over the years, his direct involvement has directly led several students to attend and graduate from law School —an impact he considers among his most meaningful accomplishments.
