Cornell L. Hatcher
Cornell L. Hatcher is the Founding Attorney of Hatcher Law Firm, A Professional Corporation and a native of Diamond Bar, California. Cornell’s commitment to excellence is evident throughout his numerous lifetime achievements —values rooted in his early academic and athletic achievements. Cornell began his collegiate career at the United States Military Academy at West Point before earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Southern University. Cornell distinguished himself academically and as a D1 athlete, as a three‑year starter and team captain, he earned both All League and League Academic awards.
He obtained his Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law in 2000. After his admission to the California State Bar and the United States District Court for the Central District of California in 2001, Cornell co-founded the Law Offices of Miles & Hatcher with Brian C. Miles where the two successfully built their practice for more than two decades.
With more than 24 years’ experience in Family Law, Estate Planning, and Civil Litigation. Cornell has successfully handled thousands of cases for his clients in the Inland Empire, Orange County, and Los Angeles. Cornell is an exceptional Attorney who prides himself on listening to his clients’ concerns and formulating a plan of attack to meet their goals.
Cornell’s dedication extends beyond the courtroom. When he’s not advocating for clients, Cornell enjoys sports, traveling and spending time with his wife and their four children. Cornell has been very active in the community and has been heavily involved in coaching youth sports and high school programs that allow young students to obtain real life experience. Cornell also mentors students who are interested in the legal field. Over the years his direct involvement has directly led several students to attend and graduate from law School —an impact he considers among his most meaningful accomplishments.

Christa Michelle Miles
Christa Michelle Miles is an Attorney at Hatcher Law Firm, APC, where she is recognized for her attention to detail, client-centered advocacy, and professionalism. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of La Verne, College of Law in 2018 and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2019.
Christa began her legal career at the Law Office of Miles & Hatcher, LLP, gaining extensive hands on experience in divorce and custody matters, personal injury claims, and a wide range of civil disputes. Christa quickly developed a reputation for guiding clients through complex and emotionally challenging situations with confidence and clarity.
Christa’s personal journey as someone who has experienced divorce firsthand allows her to bring a rare depth of understanding and empathy to her work. Having been on the other side of the process, she understands the emotional toll and uncertainty clients face. This perspective enables her to connect with clients on a personal level, offering compassionate support and practical guidance alongside strong legal representation.
Christa’s approach to family law is shaped not only by her professional expertise as an attorney but 15 years in the medical field, where she gained extensive experience supporting individuals during challenging and uncertain moments. This background enhanced her ability to remain calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and provide steadiness during times of crisis—qualities that now define her work as an attorney.

Outside of her professional work, Christa is deeply devoted to her large, blended, close-knit family. She and her husband have six children and three grandchildren. Together, they spend their free time supporting their children’s activities—from dance and orchestra to football—and volunteering where needed. Christa also enjoys cooking for her family and relaxing with a good mystery novel.
